How to Maximize Your Apple Store Genius Bar Appointments

If you need to head to the Apple Store for help with your iOS or OS X device, then make sure you read tips on getting the most from your Genius Bar appointment.

If you’re located in one of the bigger Apple markets, like the US, the UK and the rest of Europe, then you are luckily pretty close to an Apple Store. The Apple Stores give you both the best experience for buying hardware from Apple and for getting your iOS or OS X device fixed if you run into problems.

You can make appointments the Apple Geniuses in their signature blue shirts if you run into a problem with your device. They are well trained and enthusiastic professionals ready and willing to solve your iOS/OS X device troubles. The Apple Geniuses are great and clearly want everyone to have a great experience, but the Apple Stores are pretty busy, so whatever you can do to maximize that experience and make the most of it. Follow these tips and you will find that your Apple Genius will solve your problem faster and get you on your way in no time.

If you’re having trouble booking up your iOS device, then press and hold the Home button and the Lock button for about 30 seconds and that will probably fix your problem. If you’re having issues with battery life and you have an iPhone 5, then check the serial number as you may find you are eligible for a replacement.
