Gameboy Advance emulator (GBA4iOS) is now supported on iOS 8.1 without jailbreak

The creators of the ever so popular Gameboy Advance emulator for iPhone and iPad alike – GBA4Ios – have been working on the GBA4iOS without using jailbreak, after the date-time exploited in iOS 8.1 by Apple.


We have previously learned that the  GBA4iOS was previously covered and with its comprehensive emulator for iOS; you can also play GBA, original Gameboy games ,Gameboy Color , in-app browse, save games at any point,  Dropbox integration were ROM’s are easily managed, , MFI controller support, custom skins, fast forward gameplay, AirPlay support and many more features.

GBA4iOS 2.1 is currently in its beta phase, so all the new features aren’t working correctly, although with newer custom skins, new logo’s, animated intros’ and multiplayer support have been added.  The last feature has not yet been perfected.  To deal with Apple’s quick movement to patch the exploits GBA4iOS, developers  have released a working beta instead of the planned release of 2.1  and are using a the working beta to distribute their apps openly.

To install GBA4iOS on iOS 8.1 system without Jailbreak, just visit iEmulator’s official website for GBA4iOS using Safari, click on the ‘GBA4Ios 2.1’ icon to install it.  A dialog box will ask you to install, tap confirm.  With the download confirmed, go back to the home screen and you will find that the GBA4iOS will be installed.  Launch the app and let the gaming begin.  Google is the best place to find the downloading ROM’s.  After testing it on the iPhone 4S GBA4iOs it does download with not issue, however if download issues persists the easiest is to contact the developers directly on Twitter.
